YouTube Streaming Guide
This guide is made based on some test done by some bases. Test results will be attached at the end. Don't forget to check that out.✓ Sign in :
Always have to sign in to stream. Otherwise your streams won't be counted.Tips :
if you have more than 1 account, switch the accounts after a while. In Laptop sign in with different accounts in different browsers (Ex. : Chrome, Firefox, Explorer &Opera etc.)✓ Search & stream Manually :Search the MV manually & always watch the one from official channel. For BTS's MV it will be from "Bih Hit Labels" (previously known as "ibighit"). For some Japanese MVs it can be from "Universal Music Japan"Tips :
To find the MVs easily subscribe to the channels. (Click on the names it'll redirect to YouTube channels)✓Things to remember while streaming :Sound : There's no exact rule like the sound must be a certain __% or higher. But You can't mute the video (you can use headphones). If you are using laptop and Streaming in browser then don't mute the browser sound also.
Video Quality : It's okay if you don't watch the video in HD quality. You can watch it at any quality but not less than 480p.
Watch Time : Watch Time is very important for a video. Video with higher watch time ranks better (in trending). If watch time is higher more recommendations, more exposure, more views. So, it's good if you watch the video until the very end. (Only YouTube knows how long you need to watch a video to be counted as a stream).
Skipping/Pausing : Don't skip forward once you start watching the video. And don't repeat/replay/refresh the browser at the end.
It's okay if you pause/rewind. It doesn't hamper the view.
Rewatch : After watching once, you have to make a gap before watching the video again. No one knows exactly how long you need to wait to rewatch but in some tests we find out that a gap of 10-15 minutes is good. While making 10 minutes gap to rewatch, you can watch 2-3 other BTS MVs / non BTS related videos
Like, Comment & Share : Like, Comments & share help to increase the video engagement, which helps the video to rank higher. So, Don't forget to like the video, leave a good comment & share the video with your friends and family.
But be careful about not to spam the comment section. Don't comment too much repeatedly.
Multiple tab/Multiple browser : Don't open multiple YouTube tabs on same browser, instead you can stream on different browsers using different accounts (Ex. : Chrome, Firefox, Explorer & Opera etc)
Ads : Normally ads doesn't have any impact on views (but it will bring some extra money to BH & BTS. So, why not!)
Playlist : Try to stream manually. But if you are busy, you can stream with playlist. But don't use a long playlist (maximum 3.5 hour) & skip 3-4 songs/hour
Turn off Autoplay : Turn off Autoplay to avoid other recommended videos being played.Tips For First 24 hours :• Search the MV manually and stream. Avoid using playlist for streaming
• After streaming the MV once in a while don't watch it again in 10 minutes. While making 10 minute gap watch any other 2-3 BTS MV or any other video
• Leave YouTube for 15-30 minutes after streaming for 1 hour. you can go & stream on other streaming platforms such as deezer
• Don't just watch BTS MVs repeatedly. Watch other non BTS related video too.
• Don't watch lyrical videos. Only focus on MV.
• Act like a human ✓ What makes you a Bot ? / Bot like behavior :• Watching the same video again & again
• Streaming with long playlist without break or skip
• Streaming same artist’s song repeatedly*** ! Some Misinformation ! ***** Screen ratio :** There's no such rule that you must watch the MV in full screen. That's just a misinformation. You can watch it in Half / full screen. It doesn't affect your streams. But avoid watching in mini screen. No matter how many times you watch a video in mini screen it'll be counted as one view.** Views per IP Address : ** We saw a information goes on saying " only 50 streams per account counts" That's not true at all. The correct information is
*For billboard charts only a certain amount of views counts from US streams (streams from people who are living in USA), but that's only for billboard charts counting. All their other views are still counted in total views of the MV.** 2 different device connected with same IP Address : ** IP Address is consist of two parts one is from your device & other part is from your internet connection. So even if you are connected to same WiFi for 2 different devices there's 2 different IP Address.
It's true that too much repeated streams can get deleted. So you can change to mobile data after Streaming for a while or You can switch account (if you have more than 1 account)
Answer To some Frequently asked Questions :
Que. 1: May I Pause or Turn off the watch history?
Answer: No, you can't pause/turn off/delete your watch history. It affects your streams. The views can get deleted.Que. 2: Can we use playlist for streaming?
Answer: For first 24 Hours don't use playlist. Because the views from playlist takes time to be added, sometimes takes more than 24 hours. So, avoid using playlist.
If you are busy, you may use playlist. But not longer than 1 hours.** Our suggestion will always be not to use playlist. Cause you need to take break while Streaming, you can't stream repeatedly. So, take the break when you are busy **Que. 3: Can we stream on two different platforms at the same time?
Answer: For phone it's good not to stream in two different platforms (ex. YouTube & Deezer). Sometimes we use split screen to use two different apps. But some Streaming apps doesn't support it (for example Deezer. Deezer doesn't support split screen). So, it's good if you switch platforms & stream ( stream 30 minutes on YouTube & 30 minutes on DEEZER )
For laptop you can use two different tabs to stream on two different platform (ex. YouTube in one tab & Deezer in another tab)/ two different browser to use two different platforms (ex. YouTube in one browser & Deezer in another browser)Que. 4 : Does Embed link stream counts ?
Answer :
Stream with Embed link doesn't count as it used to before. so we suggest not to stream with embeded link, article or weverse.
If you are from US read this carefully. Streams from embedded links are no longer counted towards billboard charts. So be careful & stream in YouTube app.Que. 5 : Does commenting with emoji freeze views ?
Answer : This is the most asked question. The answer is no. Commenting with emoji doesn't freeze views. When there's too much traffic on a video YouTube freezes the video to verify the streams (if the views are from bots or not).
But avoid commenting with links. It's considered as spam.Que. 5 : Can we stream on YouTube Music using VPN as it's not available in our country ?
Answer : No, you can not do that at any cost! Never use VPN to stream on any platforms. Your streams won't be counted at all!!
DEEZER Streaming Guide
Deezer streaming is really important for Bangladeshi ARMYs. Only DEEZER is available streaming platform in Bangladesh. Spotify/Apple Music/Amazon Music/Google Play Music isn't available here.Download the DEEZER App
✓Step 1: Creating free account Skip step 1 if you already have an account Phone
• If you are using phone/tab/ipad Go to DEEZER app
• Click on Sign up
• Enter the required information (Email address, Password, Username, Age, Gender, agree to privacy policy, do the reCAPTCHA) & click on Sign up
• You have to select 3 artist (app policy)

After selecting artists click on "continue with 3 artist" (other members don't have any official profile on DEEZER yet)
• Click on cancel if you are asked to subscribe to premium
• Your account is ready.**PC **
• Open any browser > search DEEZER > open DEEZER tab
• Click on DEEZER free & then click on Sign up
• Enter the required information (Email address, Password, Username, Age, Gender, agree to privacy policy, do the reCAPTCHA) & click on Sign up
• You can select artist / skip.
• Click on cancel if you are asked to subscribe to premium
• Your account is ready.✓Step 2: StreamingPhone :*** With DEEZER free account you can’t play single songs (if you click on a song it will play a 30 second preview. So, with DEEZER free account don't try to play a single song. You have to stream with a playlist/Album. Open a playlist/album > Click on Shuffle play ***• Don't mute your phone. There's no certain volume range just avoid muting.
• Skip 2-3 songs in 1 hour (you can skip up to 6 songs in 1 hour with DEEZER free account).
• Don’t repeatedly listen to Only BTS songs, listen to any other artist’s song ( you can listen to the artists BTS have collaborated with, more in tips)PC :*** In PC, DEEZER web version you can enjoy all the DEEZER Premium features with DEEZER free account . So, you can listen to any song you want just by clicking on it. ***• Don't mute browser (You can use Headphones)
• Skip 2-3 songs in 1 hour if you are using playlist.
• Don’t repeatedly listen to Only BTS songs, listen to any other artist’s song ( you can listen to the artists BTS have collaborated with, more in tips)✓Some Streaming Tips :
There is no specific tips for first 24 hours. Always stream in same way. Just create more playlist with newly released songs.PhoneAvoid recommendations : In phone you can’t do anything beforehand if you don’t want to be recommended with any artist’s song. You can only choose the option “Don’t recommend this artist” after any of that artist’s song is mix played while streaming. For that stop the recommended song & click on angry button "😡" (lower right corner), Select the option.
Take Break : Don’t repeatedly listen only BTS songs, don’t skip 1-2 other artist’s songs, just listen to it while recommended. Or also you can add 1-2 other artist’s song while making your own playlist.
Skipping Limit : Once you skip 6 songs in 1 hour you can skip again exactly after 1 hour of your last skip.
Connect to Last fm : Connect your DEEZER account with “last.fm” to track your streaming.PCDon't Repeat/Loop : Never repeat/loop a song. Try to listen to 2-3 other song before listening the song again. (In PC You can play a single song. So, you actually listen that way manually)
Avoid Recommendations : When you play an album/playlist can choose “ Repeat all the song in album/playlist” to avoid mix playing (if you don't, they play other artist’s song automatically after you finish streaming the full album/Playlist). If you don’t want to be recommended just go to artist’s channel > click on option sign (…) > click on Don’t recommend this artist
Take Break : Don’t repeatedly listen only BTS songs, just go to any other artis’s album/playlist, listen to 1-2 songs & GO back to streaming mode. Or also you can add 1-2 other artist’s song while making your own playlist.
Connect to Last fm : Connect your DEEZER account with “last.fm” to track your streaming.✓How to make playlist :
You can’t add a song twice in a playlist
• Click on the option button (…) beside the song > then select "add to playlist" > select any playlist you want / click on “new playlist” & create the playlist with a suitable name.Tips :
• Make a playlist with new release & old songs.
• Include BTS's collabs, solo mixtapes & other artists songs (artists BTS collabed with)
• Create a long playlist (2.5 hours maximum)
• Don't use a playlist more than once in 24 hours. Make multiple playlists or save other's.
• Share your playlist to help other ARMYs.Additional:
Select Country :
After a recent update you can now select your location on DEEZER. Selecting location on DEEZER will help them find out from where you are streaming BTS musics from. It's a good opportunity for us to shine.✓ Update your DEEZER App

We mentioned about last fm previously. So, here's how to create last fm account & connect with DEEZER. Download Last Fm or you can access the web version.
Download Last FmPC :
✓How to create last fm account?
• Search & open last fm tab in your browser
• Click on the options upper right corner & select “join”
• Enter all the required information (tips you must remember the username & password exactly how you put here because last.fm is case sensitive. For example: if you put "BTS" as your username then you have to type "BTS" next time you want log in. It won't accept if you put "Bts"/"bts").
• Agree to terms & policy , do the reCAPTCHA .
If everything is okay now click on “ create my account
• Now you have to verify the Email account you entered. For that go to The Email inbox & there will be an email send by “[email protected]”. Open the email & click on verification link.
• Your account is ready once you verify.✓Connect your DEEZER with last.fm :
• Go to browser & first log in to your last.fm account , open
DEEZER in another tab & log in.
• Go to account setting in DEEZER (click on profile sign upper
right corner, click on account setting)
• Click on “Alerts & Sharing”
• Now click on last fm. (As you are already logged in to your last fm account it’ll redirect). Now Click on "allow access"
• Now your DEEZER is connected to last fmPhone :

Que. 1 : Does DEEZER Streams count towards any chart ?
Answer : Yes it does. Every country has own charts and counting rules. In some country charts it might count, for some other country charts it might not. Which countries doesn't have official charts their stream from every official platforms will count towards the worldwide chart.
For Bangladesh we don't have any official charts here. So, our streams will count towards worldwide chart.*** Que. 2 : Must we need a premium account to stream ?*** No, you must not need a premium account to stream on DEEZER app.
You can stream with DEEZER free account. (Please be reminded if you try to play a single song with DEEZER free, you can't. You always need to play an Album / a Playlist)
Shazam Guide
✓What is Shazam ?
Shazam is an application that can identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played and using the microphone on the device. The software is available for Android, macOS, iOS, watchOS, and Windows.
*** Shazam is not an Streaming platform, it only indentification App. You can use it while Streaming in different platforms***Download Shazam App
✓How to use Shazam app ?• Download the App on your device
• Enable Some settings : Go to app settings on your phone & enable Location & Microphone in app permission
• Play the BTS song you want to Shazam from any platforms you want (e.g., DEEZER, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, your car stereo etc)
• Open the Shazam app and tap the Shazam button in the middle.
• Shazam will "listen to" the song and identify it.✓ How to Shazam a same song multiple times? / Clear Data :Android :In Android devices, you can Shazam a song as many times as you want.• Shazam the song once
• Clear your Shazam app data (in app settings)
• Shazam the song again***If you do not clear Shazam App data, your Shazams on the same song will only be counted once in 24 hours ***Note : After a recent update, Shazam counts are no longer updated immediately after a song is Shazamed. Instead, it will take a while to be added. As long as you Shazam properly the numbers will be added.iOS :After a recent update, in most iOS devices you can now only Shazam a song once in 24 hours as there is no longer a way to CLEAR DATA on the iOS devices (Even if you Shazam many times, only one Shazam will be counted towards total number). The previous method of login/ log out & remove does not work on most iOS devices anymoreIn some older version of iOS devices which are no longer can be updated / older version of Shazam App which you didn't update for a long time the previous log in/ log out method might still work !!! So check the process below• First Download the App & Open it
• Log in ( To Log in , Go to > library > Settings > scroll down > Log in )
• Now play a song on your preferred platform
• Open Shazam App & Click on shazam button in the middle. Wait until Shazam App identifies the song.
• Now Go to settings and Click on log out > Remove Data✓ Additional Tips :
Turn On Location : Although it's optional, we suggest you to Enable Location permission for Shazam app. It will contribute to both in your local Shazam chart as well as in Global chart. If it's disabled, your Shazam will only contribute to Global chart.
Shazam While a song being played on a Radio Station : Don't forget to Shazam whenever a song is played on a Radio Station.
Pop-up Shazam : Use Pop-up shazam option if you can't leave the platform where the song is being played (For Example YouTube App)
To enable Pop-up shazam :
> Go to Library > Settings > Turn On Pop-up shazam > Give the requested permission > Go back to settings > Turn On Pop-up shazam > Click on "Pop-up shazam is on" to Get the shazam button
Shazam using Snapchat : Remember to Shazam using Snapchat app. Follow the steps below
• Download 'Snapchat' app
• Enable microphone in your phone app setting for Snapchat
• Play the song you want to Shazam from anywhere
• Open Snapchat app > go to camera screen
• Press and hold on the middle of the camera screen, until it identifies the song playing.
Shazam using Snapchat app only counts once in 24 hours
Radio play is really important for a song as well as Artist to get more exposure to general public.✓Request BTS songs to the local radio stations.To get BTS's songs played in our local radio stations, we must request to radio stations.» Here's a list of some Bangladeshi Radio Stations where you can request BTS songs. Their Facebook page is linked (Radio Stations here are mostly based on Facebook, you can request a song in their Facebook page by commenting on their posts)Radio Today 89.6 fm

Not to spam : Don't request so many songs or the same song repeatedly. Some RJs might get irritated by that.
Appreciate : Whenever they play a BTS song, leave a nice comment thanking them.
Don't be mean : If they don't play the song you requested don't be mean to them. That would leave a bad impression about BTS & ARMY
Shazam , share : Shazam the song when it's being played on any radio station.
